"If you have good thoughts they will shine out of your face like sunbeams and you will always look lovely"  -Roald Dahl

Welcome! I am Mrs. Chapman and it is a joy to have you, and your child, with me!

Teaching  History...
::I began teaching at Warsaw Elementary right out of college! This is my seventh year teaching over all. Six of those years have been spent with the wonderful second graders and one year was spent with beautiful third graders. I have loved every single year but I must admit- my heart lives in second grade!!::

Education History...
::I grew up south of Cambridge in a small country town similar to Warsaw. I graduated high school from Shenandoah HS and went right to college at Kent State University. From Kent, I graduated with my Bachelors in Education and my reading endorsement. I am currently working on obtaining my Master's Degree in Curriculum and Instruction::

A little about me...
::I am a 28 year old book lover! I am happiest when I am in the sun and with my family. I have been married for three years to my wonderful high school sweetheart Garrett and together we love to run, cook, and travel. On Saturdays I work at Chapman's Coffee House - the coffee shop my husband and I own and run::

My goal...
::As a teacher it is my joy to educate my students in a safe, exciting, accepting learning environment. We create an area in our classroom that is a community of learners who work, laugh, and learn together. I use differentiated instruction to help reach all students right where they are. We welcome questions, mistakes, concerns, worries, joy, and we make all things a learning experience. My kiddos and I work on much more than our second grader standards- we work on becoming strong and kind young men and women. We work on please and thank you's, forgiveness, acceptance, and spreading more light. I often tell my students- if it doesn't lift someone else up, we dont do or say it. In my room we believe in the good- in the world and in others- and we will work hard this year to help your child spread more good academically, socially, and emotionally.::
